Naimisharanya, or Naimish Forest, is one of the most sacred pilgrimage sites in Hinduism. According to Hindu scriptures, this is where sage Suta narrated the Puranas to thousands of sages. The site features the Chakra Tirtha — a natural whirlpool believed to be the navel of the earth — as well as the Lalita Devi Temple, Vyas Gaddi, and numerous other shrines set in serene, forested surroundings.
